ok, here it goes:

1) sometimes when i'm at home alone, i will turn on music and do interpretive dance.

2) i still watch Full house (at least 2 times a week)

3) for the SuperBowl i made "rice crispie treats" with flaxseed oil instead of butter, brown rice puffs instead of rice crispies, and i added in some almonds and dried blueberries (go colts)...for a healthy snack amidst other game day snackens.

4) i am a complusive list writer.

5) i'm currently attempting an elimintaion diet of milk, wheat, corn products... in order to see if any of those cause the crazy amount of gas i sometimes have.

6) i'm attempting to become a triathlete by taking yoga classes.. not really, but i do yoga more than i train for the triathlon i'm doing in july..

ok, so maybe i dont think im so weird...that was kind of hard, and i dont think i want to complete the full assignment of passing this on to 6 others.

-k

So i traced this "tagging" back to where i could find some "rules" ... now it makes sense.

Rules: Each person who is tagged writes six (6) weird things about himself/herself.  At the bottom of the post, choose six (6) people to be tagged and list their names.  People who get tagged need to write a blog post of their own six (6) weird things as well as state these rules clearly.

 666.. huh.

maybe later...

mornings spent waking up to two puppies jumping out of bed around 6:00 ready for breakfast and intestinal release

days spent playing games, reading stories, changing diapers and eatting veggie chick'n nuggets...maybe getting to read a few good books while avoiding the ever-so contagious diseases these little monsters carry around

evenings spent cycling, swimming, yoga, making food, scott's math homework, watching either the US figure skating champs (spokane!!) or the austrailian open (tennis), walking puppies, and practicing our corss-country ski skills down the road to Manito park

favorite activities for relaxing:  grocery shopping, baking (healthy) cookies, reading about nutrition, retyping scott's biology study sheets...filling in the answers and definitions, drinking market spice tea while enjoying a (healthy) cookie...visiting with Molly, getting a massage from Beth

things have changed slightly since Christmas... Scott and i are currently "dog sitting" for the next 6 1/2 weeks for a couple who are leaving today for Ethiopia.  We moved in the last weekend of December and have been living with them for the past 10 days.  Bill and Colleen (this couple) are a joy to scott and i.  they have been a huge part of our lives and our marriage.  They have two adorable little dogs (a beagle and a schauzer sp?!?!) whom we will be living with and taking care of while they are in Africa.   it's so wonderful living in a house rather than an apartment, however, we will be moving into an apt come march.  but all the while, we are saving a couple month's rent (plus internet and utilities) and hopefully we'll find a cheaper apt!

Another biggie.. Scott has finally started school again.  He's taking precal and bio to get into his other science classes.   He has about 10 prereqs to sucessfully pass before he will apply for the doc in physical therapy program at Eastern Wa U.  that will go another 3 years.   So with school comes schoolwork and this work he has is all math!!  he hates math... i loved math... so i get to spend the 2 and half hours a night assisting him with his homework.  I'm still nannying and he still works at the gym training..  we're really enjoying life right now (minus the math).  And God has brought a lot of great people (who need to be encouraged in their faith or need to know Jesus!)  into our lives so we really feel quite purposful here in spokane.

so for now, there is a brief update...
